Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, announced that the scientific journal of Faculty of Dentistry at Tanta University entitled “Tanta Dental Journal” has been listed in Scopus Database, which is considered the largest international database created by the publishing house Elsevier in 2004 to publish papers, abstracts and citations.

   Prof. Mohamed Hussein congratulated all affiliates of Faculty of Dentistry on this great breakthrough commending the efforts exerted by the academic staff members at the faculty and the editing staff of the journal throughout the last period. These efforts culminated in listing the journal in Scopus database. In addition, he indicated that the university places great emphasis on scientific journals of the faculties as they play a pivotal role in improving the university’s world ranking, increasing its competitiveness, and boosting its pioneering position among universities.
