Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, announced that "Rabekia" team, "RABIH" team, and "Nabta" team from Tanta University qualified for the final round of the Startup Olympics 2024, after winning the regional competition of the Delta region. The final round is a pathway to the Gen-Z 2024 camp, held at Kafr El-Sheikh University, with support from the Innovators and Talented Care Fund under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and with participation of the United Media Services Company. Forty teams from 12 universities competed in these qualifiers.

    Moreover, Prof. Mohamed Hussein stated that he takes pride in the university’s teams that qualified for the final round of the GenZ Startup Olympics, affirming the university’s ongoing commitment to providing all forms of support and care to its innovative and creative students. He asserted the university’s efforts in developing their abilities and skills and supporting their innovations. He also commended the efforts exerted by the Innovation Unit and the Talent Care and Entrepreneurship Center at the university that play a great role in encouraging youth to develop their ideas and innovations and creating a supportive environment to help them turn their ideas into successful projects that serve society. This process involves a thorough study of human and economic resources and industrial foundations to achieve sustainable development.

   In addition, Acting President of the University commended the initiatives launched by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Innovators and Talented Care Fund to enhance students' abilities of entrepreneurship and establishment of startups. He indicated that the qualifying teams would join a preparatory camp at Galala University starting tomorrow, where they will receive full knowledge to make their projects ready for practical application.
