According to the QS Arab Region Ranking, Tanta University is the 78th out of 246 Ranked Universities

Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, announced that the university has maintained its position in the QS Arab Region Ranking, achieving the 78th place among Arab universities in 2025, out of 246 ranked Arab universities. Additionally, the university is ranked 12th among Egyptian universities, locally out of 36 ranked universities.

   Prof. Mohamed Hussein affirmed that this result proves the efforts exerted by the university's administration, faculty teams, the International Ranking Unit, and its coordinators in enhancing the university's academic and research stature. He highlighted the university's ongoing commitment, in line with its strategic plan, to achieving excellence in academic and research fields, promoting innovation, reducing the gap between educational outcomes and the local and international labor market, and establishing effective partnerships with educational and international institutions according to the national strategy for higher education and scientific research.

   Moreover, the Acting President added that Tanta University plays a vital role as an educational and research institution, contributing to community development and achieving sustainable development. It holds a pioneering position in the areas of education and scientific research and has a significant impact on society. Furthermore, he commended the efforts exerted by the university’s academic staff, and the central teams at the university and its faculties in achieving this progress.
