In Attendance of University Vice Presidents, Prof. Mohamed Hussein Inaugurates the Development and Maintenance Projects of the Medical Administration Building

Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, inaugurated the projects of development and maintenance of the Medical Administration building at Sibirbay Campus. The inauguration was attended by Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Hatem Amin, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Amr Abdel Monem, General Supervisor of the Medical Administration; Prof. Hosny Dowier, Manager of the Center for Engineering Consultations; Prof. Mohamed Abo Helal, Vice Manager of the Center for Engineering Consultations; as well as many doctors, nurses, and administrative staff.

   During his tour of the building, Acting President of the University listened to a detailed explanation from the doctors and the nursing staff about the procedures followed to offer medical services to students, and about how they ensure the availability of all medicaments and medical equipment that help to deliver high-quality healthcare service. In addition, he commended the achievements of the Medical Administration including the development processes that included 20 clinics, the administrative offices, doctors’ lounges, rooms of the nursing staff and pharmacists, and students’ rest areas.

   Moreover, Acting President of the University affirmed that improvement of the medical care systems is a high priority in Tanta University’s strategy. He lauded the exceptional services provided by the Medical Administration to university students such as conducting medical examination of new students, performing diagnostic tests and analyses, and dispensing prescribed medications from the pharmacy of the Medical Administration.
