In the Attendance of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Health, and Ministers of Higher Education and Culture, Acting President of Tanta University Participates in Cairo University’s 19th Science Day Celebration


   Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, participated today in Cairo University’s 19th Science Day celebration. The event was attended by Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population; Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Ahmed Heno, Minister of Culture; and Prof. Mohamed Samy, President of Cairo University. The celebration, held at the Grand Conference Hall of Cairo University, brought together a distinguished group of scientists who received awards from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) for 2024, as well as recipients of state and university awards, alongside university presidents, university leaders, State Council members, judicial authorities, and public figures.
   According to a statement by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, 63 scientists and researchers from Cairo University were honored, including recipients of awards from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and the university, as well as seven public figures.
   The ceremony was also attended by Prof. Hala El-Said, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Economic Affairs; Mr. Amr Moussa, former Secretary-General of the Arab League and President of Cairo University’s Alumni Association; Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina; Prof. Hesham Azmy, Head of the Intellectual Property Authority; Prof. Assem El-Gazzar, Secretary-General of the Arab Tribes Union; and a group of public figures.
