Tanta University hosted today the third outreach symposium organized by Decent Life Foundation at faculties of Engineering and Education under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President; and Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Ahmed Helal, Dean of Faculty of Education; Prof. Mustafa Al-Sawwaf, Vice Dean of Faculty of Engineering for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Zeinab Samy, General Coordinator of Decent Life Foundation in Gharbia; Ms. Amira Al-Tatawy, Member of the National Council for Women (NCW); on behalf of Prof. Safaa Maraei, Rapporteur of NCW in Gharbia, Prof. Shimaa Al-Agha, NCW Member; and a group of volunteers at the initiative to enhance university youth’s volunteerism.
Prof. Mahmoud Zaki declared that volunteerism is very significant in increasing students’ cultural and social awareness, and that the university seeks to empower youth based on its strategy in cooperation with Decent Life initiative.
Furthermore, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, affirmed that Decent Life initiative made unprecedented achievements in Egyptian rural areas as it established huge national projects that help youth to join labor market and to acquire practical experience in communication, cooperation and teamwork.
