Tanta University students took part in the 50th Martyr Al-Refaie Championship for Athletics held at the American University in Cairo (AUC) from December 8, 2022 to December 11, 2022. They gained 15 gold, silver, and bronze medals.

    Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, congratulated the winner students commending their efforts during the period of training. He affirmed that the university is always keen on supporting students and encouraging them to practice various sports as they develop students’ personality and increase their competitiveness so that they can win more championships for the university.

   It is worth noting that students participated in the championship under supervision of Prof. Magdy Wakwak, Coordinator of Student Activities, and Mr. Mohamed Al-Kasir, General Manager of Youth Welfare at the university.
