In a press release, Tanta University announced that the 1st conference of Pediatric Intensive Care is held on March 28th and 29th, 2022 under the title “Intensive Care and COVID-19” in Conference Hall at Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University.

   The conference is organized in the framework of celebrating Tanta University’s golden jubilee under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President; Prof. Kamal Okasha, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of Faculty of Medicine; and Prof. Mohammed Hantira, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and under supervision of Prof. Mohammed Al-Shanshory, Head of Pediatrics Department; and Prof. Khaled Talaat, Head of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Faculty of Medicine.

   It is worth mentioning that the conference tackles three main pivots: the effect of COVID-19 on all body parts, vaccination, and all the process from COVID-19 infection to recovery, with participation of scientists of pediatric medicine and pediatric intensive care from universities of Ain Shams, Benha, and Zagazig.
