Prof. Mohamed Hussein Attends the Graduation Ceremony Held for the 46th Cohort and Graduates the International Dental Program at Tanta University

Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University, organized today a major celebration for the graduates of the 46th cohort and the international program at the faculty, in the attendance of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President of Tanta University for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Mohsen Makshat, former Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Kamal Okasha, former Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Faten Abo Talib, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry; and Prof. Ali Al-Sheikh, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs and Rapporteur of the ceremony; Prof. Sherin Abdel Mawla, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Fathy Fayed, President of the Dental Syndicate in Gharbia; as well as many academic staff members and graduates.

   During his speech, Prof. Mohamed Hussein congratulated the graduates of the 46th cohort at Faculty of Dentistry and the graduates of the International Program. He affirmed that Tanta University always seeks to achieve excellence and to establish an outstanding educational institution, through its strategic plan aiming to develop education and scientific research systems and to reach outcomes that serve sustainable development goals and Egypt’s vision 2030. Moreover, Acting President of the University congratulated graduates’ parents, families, and friends for their support that continued throughout the period of study. In addition, he thanked professors, assistant staff, and administrators of the faculty for their continuous efforts. He called upon university graduated to be the best representatives of their faculty and university.

   Furthermore, Acting President of the University commended the unprecedented breakthrough achieved by the faculty during the last period regarding improvement of its own human and financial capabilities, pointing out that the faculty was able to develop its infrastructure and programs. He added that the permanent goal of the faculty is to graduate dentists with high efficiency. He also asserted that the faculty was able to increase the number of its international students proving its advancement, in addition to the excellence achieved by the faculty in Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) 2024 as the university gained the rank (2011-300) in Dentistry and Oral Sciences and was ranked third locally.

   During the ceremony, graduates’ shields were granted to Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President of Tanta University for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Faten Abo Talib, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry; and Prof. Ali Al-Sheikh, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs and Rapporteur of the ceremony; and Prof. Sherin Abdel Mawla, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. Moreover, graduates were honored; they were granted graduation certificates and graduates’ shields.
