Nature Index Ranking

The Nature Index is one of the indicators used to assess institutional research performance. It is based on two key metrics: Count and Share, which reflect the publication output of an institution in 145 high-quality journals covering the natural and health sciences. These include disciplines such as biological sciences, chemistry, environmental and earth sciences, health sciences, and physical sciences.
Journals are selected according to their reputation, as determined by panels of leading scientists in their respective fields. The index also considers several other factors, such as the quality of the published research.
