Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, Attends the Graduation Ceremony of the 52nd Bachelor’s Cohort and the 44th Postgraduate Cohort at the Faculty of Commerce


    Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, attended the graduation ceremony organized by the Faculty of Commerce for the 52nd cohort of bachelor’s degree students and the 44th cohort of postgraduate graduates. The event was attended by Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Yasser El-Garf, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce; faculty vice deans, academic staff members, and a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate graduates.

    Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his pride and pleasure in attending the ceremony and sharing this special occasion with the graduates. He emphasized that they represent the generation of the future, entrusted with the responsibility of building a strong nation and a prosperous economy. He affirmed that the Faculty of Commerce has always been a beacon of knowledge and learning, as well as a leading institution in preparing graduates capable of addressing the challenges of the modern era.
   
   He further noted that economic, administrative, and financial sciences constitute the cornerstone of any national renaissance, as they organize resources, direct capabilities, enhance efficiency, and contribute to shaping policies that support growth and stability. He explained that graduates of the faculty possess the ability to understand data, analyze economic and financial indicators, and connect them with practical realities, thereby serving as a bridge between academic thought and professional application.

    The University President added that Egypt today is in need of an aware and responsible youth who recognize that development is not merely about projects, but rather an integrated vision built upon knowledge, sound governance, and a precise understanding of financial data and indicators that guide economic policies toward growth and sustainability. He stressed the importance of graduates contributing to this vision and participating in the construction of a strong economy that supports the nation and enhances its standing among countries. He also extended his sincere gratitude and appreciation to parents for their unwavering support, sacrifices, and continuous encouragement throughout their children’s academic journey.
   
   For his part, Prof. Hatem Amin affirmed that the graduation of a new cohort from the Faculty of Commerce, long distinguished by its outstanding academic and professional programs, reflects the success of the educational process in all its scientific, intellectual, and practical dimensions. He stated that this achievement demonstrates the graduates’ readiness to enter the labor market and confront its challenges, thereby strengthening their role in advancing comprehensive societal development.
 
   He added that Tanta University continuously strives to develop and innovate its academic programs and educational services in order to provide a distinguished academic and research environment, in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030, which aims to advance the systems of education and scientific research and support the building of the New Republic. He encouraged graduates to continue developing themselves professionally and academically and to maintain strong ties with their faculty to benefit from ongoing knowledge and expertise.
 
   Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz stated that the Education and Student Affairs Sector is always committed to providing a supportive environment for nurturing students’ talents, developing their skills, and directing their energies toward creativity and excellence through various student activities and programs. He emphasized that the university’s doors will always remain open to its graduates and paid special tribute to parents, describing them as the true heroes of this achievement. He advised graduates to enter the labor market equipped with both knowledge and values and to serve as honorable ambassadors for the prestigious Tanta University.
   
   Prof. Yasser El-Garf remarked that this day represents the culmination of years of dedication, learning, and perseverance. He praised the distinguished graduates from both undergraduate and postgraduate academic and professional programs, as well as international students. Addressing the graduates, he stated: “Today, you begin your journey of giving as ambassadors for your homeland and your university.”
 
   He also expressed his appreciation to Prof. Mohamed Hussein for his continuous support in developing the educational system and providing all necessary resources to ensure the success of academic and student activities. In addition, he extended his sincere thanks to the faculty members for their efforts in preparing a distinguished generation capable of competing effectively in the labor market.
 
    The ceremony concluded with the honoring of top undergraduate graduates, distinguished alumni of the faculty, faculty members who had attained the ranks of Professor and Associate Professor, as well as graduates of academic and professional postgraduate programs.
