During its regular meeting held today under the chairmanship of Professor Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, the University Council honored Dr. Hosny Doweir, Director of the Engineering Research and Consultancy Center, on the occasion of the completion of his tenure as Director of the Center, in recognition of his dedicated efforts and outstanding contributions throughout his leadership.

    Professor Mohamed Hussein, President of the University, expressed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Hosny Doweir on behalf of himself and all members of the Council for his commitment and dedication to his work. He emphasized that the recent period had witnessed an unprecedented phase of construction and engineering development, leaving a distinctive and enduring architectural legacy across all university facilities, including educational and medical institutions as well as the university hospitals. These achievements have received widespread praise and recognition from both citizens and service beneficiaries.

    In his remarks, the University President also commended the significant contributions of the University's former presidents, noting that they played a fundamental role in supporting and developing the University's infrastructure and in laying the foundations for this remarkable phase of construction and development.  

    Professor Mohamed Hussein further stated that Dr. Hosny Doweir has left a clear and tangible mark on every engineering and construction project undertaken by the University. Through his extensive expertise, he succeeded in achieving numerous accomplishments and milestones that will remain a testament to a distinguished era of dedicated service and professional excellence.

    For their part, the deans of the faculties and members of the University Council expressed their appreciation and admiration for Dr. Hosny Doweir, praising his continuous cooperation with the University's various sectors and faculties, as well as his pivotal technical role in ensuring that university projects were delivered in accordance with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

    At the conclusion of the ceremony, the University President presented the University's Shield of Honor to Dr. Hosny Doweir in recognition of his valuable contributions, wishing him continued success and progress in his future academic and professional endeavors.
