Prof. Selim emphasized that the current phase requires the adoption of advanced analytical tools to measure impact and guide institutional decision-making. He highlighted the importance of leveraging spatial analytics, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and decision support systems to build a more capable institutional framework for strategic planning, monitoring, performance measurement, and maximizing the University's developmental and community service outcomes.
The presentation also highlighted several proposed analytical applications, including impact distribution analysis, growth forecasting, innovation and international collaboration network analysis, innovation index measurement, gap analysis, as well as the use of cluster analysis, density analysis, spatial correlation, space-time cube analysis, and hotspot analysis. These tools are intended to strengthen the University's capacity to identify intervention priorities, improve service efficiency, and enhance the effectiveness of its initiatives.
Prof. Selim further discussed the integration of the University's educational, research, and community service missions through initiatives designed to equip students and graduates with future-oriented skills. These include artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, financial technology (FinTech), entrepreneurship, sustainable business models, and digital literacy, thereby enhancing graduates' readiness for local, regional, and international labor markets.

These initiatives address public health, early disease detection, support for persons with disabilities, combating violence against women, preventing child marriage, enhancing the skills and capacities of faculty members, and raising awareness of priority societal issues.
The presentation further outlined a comprehensive framework for establishing a fourth-generation university through ten key pillars, including strategic leadership and institutional transformation, digital transformation and artificial intelligence, sustainable development and international competitiveness, innovation for sustainable development goals, advanced leadership, future-oriented learning, crisis management and institutional resilience, institutional marketing and university branding, and capacity building and skills development.
