During the regular session of the Tanta University Council for the month of July:

   Honoring the deans of 6 colleges that have obtained institutional accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.

   Tanta University Council, chaired by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of the University, witnessed the honoring of the leaders of the faculties that obtained institutional accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, which included 6 faculties at the university. The honoring included Prof. Mona Al-Aasar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Eissawy Qassem, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Hani Saeed, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Prof. Afef Basal, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Prof. Nancy El-Hafnawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, and Prof. Faten Abu Talib, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry.

   The University President presented shields of honor to the deans of the colleges, appreciating the efforts of the quality assurance teams, faculty members, and administrative staff in these colleges, who contributed with their sincere efforts to achieving this distinguished academic achievement, explaining that this honor comes as a culmination of arduous and extended efforts in which the colleges proved their readiness and full fulfillment of the national quality components and standards, starting from developing educational programs and curricula, modernizing laboratories and infrastructure, all the way to improving student services and building research capabilities. 

   Prof. Mohammed Hussein stressed that the institutional accreditation of 6 colleges is a pivotal station in the university's journey towards excellence, and reflects a firm commitment to applying the highest standards of comprehensive quality in education, scientific research and community service. He added that institutional accreditation is not just a certificate granted, but rather a sustainable work approach and institutional culture that the university is keen to establish in all its sectors, Pointing out that this success represents a fundamental pillar for qualifying graduates who possess competitive skills that keep pace with the requirements of the local and international labor market, and also represents a decisive step in supporting the university's strategy for continuous development and raising its international ranking.

   The University President also pointed out that the university administration's support for the quality and accreditation file is a top priority, stressing the continuation of providing all facilities and technical and logistical support to the rest of the university's faculties in preparation for completing their institutional and programmatic accreditation, which contributes to completing the excellence system within Tanta University and enhancing its position in academic competitiveness locally and regionally.

   This came during the Tanta University Council meeting headed by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of the University, and in the presence of Prof. Fouad Harras, former President of Tanta University, Prof. Abdel Hakim Abdel Khaleq, former President of Tanta University, Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Acting Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Deans of colleges, Counselor Khairy Amara, legal advisor to the university, and accountant Ahmed Rashad, Secretary-General of the university.
