Today, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, inaugurated the renovation and development works of the volleyball court at the Faculty of Sports Sciences. He also inspected the progress of the aptitude tests for new students applying to join the faculty. This came in the presence of Prof. Hani Saeed, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, along with the faculty's deputies and a number of faculty members and staff at the faculty.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, stressed that the university pays great attention to developing and modernizing the infrastructure and sports facilities in the university's various faculties, which contributes to providing training and educational services according to the highest quality standards. He pointed out that investment in developing stadiums and sports facilities aims to discover and nurture young talents, and create a suitable environment for students to showcase their energies and compete strongly in all local and international tournaments.
During his tour to inspect the aptitude tests, the University President stressed the need to provide all means of comfort and transparency for new students, ensuring that the tests are conducted in a regular and neutral atmosphere. He also checked the workflow within the committees and worked to overcome any obstacles that students and their parents might face. He emphasized the university’s full commitment to neutrality and transparency in evaluating students to ensure that every deserving student receives a fair opportunity. He also highlighted the importance of equipping the test committees with all necessary supplies, providing comfortable waiting areas for students and their parents, and ensuring the presence of teams of administrators and specialists to respond to students’ inquiries and assist them with application procedures and guidance inside the examination committees.
At the conclusion of the tour, the university president thanked all those in charge of organizing the tests for their efforts to facilitate the procedures for students, wishing all applicants good luck and success, noting that the university is working to build the student's integrated personality athletically and scientifically, and to support their research and applied ideas - such as rehabilitating and developing Sports stadiums to transform them into a tangible reality that serves the university community.
For his part, Prof. Hani Saeed stressed that the completion of the renovation of the volleyball court represents a strong addition to the college's training capabilities, and comes in line with the college's ongoing plans to provide an integrated academic and sports environment that befits students and helps them hone their talents, stressing the full commitment to providing the highest levels of transparency, neutrality and comfort for all students applying for aptitude tests.
