Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, attended the celebration organized by the Gharbia Directorate of Endowments to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The event was held after Maghrib prayer at the Ahmadi Mosque (Sayyid Al-Badawi Mosque) in Tanta.

    The celebration was attended by Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moaty, Governor of Gharbia, representing His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt; Engineer Hossam El-Din Abdo, Deputy Governor; Colonel Ahmed Ezz, representative of the National Security Sector in Gharbia; Colonel Staff Wael Fathy, the Governorate’s Military Adviser; Major General Mohamed Enany, Head of the Central Administration for the Governor’s Office Affairs; His Eminence Sheikh Ismail Ahmed Ismail, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments in Gharbia; His Eminence Sheikh Magdy El-Saeed, Head of the Central Administration of the Gharbia Al-Azhar District; as well as a number of executive, religious, and security officials and members of the House of Representatives and the Senate.

    The ceremony opened with a melodious recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by an address delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Ismail Ahmed Ismail, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments in Gharbia. He highlighted the significance of commemorating the birth of the Noble Prophet ﷺ and the profound lessons embodied in his exemplary life, particularly those of mercy, tolerance, sincerity, and noble character. He emphasized that following the example of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ represents a path toward building individuals of integrity and fostering a society characterized by goodness, love, and compassion.

    The ceremony concluded with religious supplications and devotional chants performed by Sheikh Mohamed Gad, creating a deeply spiritual and reverent atmosphere. The celebration reflected the cherished place of this blessed occasion in the hearts of the people of Gharbia Governorate, as well as their profound love and pride in the life and legacy of the Best of Creation, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
