Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of Tanta University, and the leadership of Prof. El-Sayed Abdel-Azim El-Ajouz, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and the general supervision of Prof. Magdy Wakouk, General Coordinator of Student Activities, and Prof. Mohamed El-Qaseer, Director General of the General Administration of Student Care, Tanta University continued the activities of the second season of the competition «Geniuses of Tanta University Colleges», The second phase was held on Wednesday, August 27, 2026, at the Innovators and Geniuses Care Center at the College of Computers and Information in the Sabrbay Complex.

    The phase witnessed the participation of 14 colleges, whose teams took a unified written test of 100 questions in various cognitive and cultural fields. The results resulted in the colleges of engineering, computers and information, law, education, medicine, pharmacy, science, and dentistry qualifying for the third and final phase.

    The eight qualified teams are scheduled to compete in a knockout format, reaching the final and being declared champions of the second season. This comes as part of the university's commitment to supporting student activities, developing intellectual and cognitive abilities, and fostering a spirit of competition and teamwork among students.

    The jury included Prof. Ahmed Zaki Mansour, former Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Yasser Abdo, Faculty of Science and Scientific Advisor for Student Care, and Engineer Islam Al-Nuwaihi, an expert in university geniuses competitions and former member of the Tanta University Geniuses team. The Cultural Activity Department organized the events in cooperation with the University Students Union, with the participation of Ahmed Al-Abyad, President of the Union, and poet Mustafa Mansour, Director of the Cultural Activity Department.
