The President of Tanta University witnesses the conclusion of the second summer training camp for students of the Faculty of Agriculture


    Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, witnessed the closing activities of the second summer student training camp, which was organized and supervised by the Faculty of Agriculture, with the participation of students of the «For Egypt» family in implementing and organizing the activities, in the presence of Prof. El-Sayed El-Ajouz, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Eissawy Qassem, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Sherif Gabr, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and a number of faculty members and students.


    Prof. Mohamed Hussein stressed that Tanta University pays great attention to camps and training programs as they are one of the important paths to complete building the university student's personality and providing him with practical and professional knowledge and skills that enhance his ability to compete and integrate efficiently into the labor market, noting that the university aims, through its student and training activities, to achieve integration between academic achievement and developing students' personal and professional skills.


    The university president added that the requirements of the labor market have gone beyond academic knowledge alone, to include communication skills, teamwork, problem solving, responsibility, and the ability to continuously learn and adapt to changes, which the university is keen to include in its programs and activities directed at students, stressing the importance of providing more opportunities that allow students to learn through practice and actual participation.


    Prof. Mohamed Hussein thanked Prof. Essawy Qassem, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, the faculty administration and the work teams responsible for organizing and supervising the camp, appreciating the effective role of the Family for Egypt students and their voluntary participation in implementing and organizing the events, and what they demonstrated in terms of their ability to work collectively and bear responsibility, stressing that the students' participation in organizing the activities represents in itself an important training experience that contributes to refining their personalities and developing their leadership and organizational skills.


    For his part, Prof. Al-Sayed Al-Ajouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, stressed that the education and student sector at the university supports activities and training camps that aim to develop students' skills and expand their experiences outside the classrooms, explaining that student activities represent a key component in building the student's integrated personality and enhancing his abilities to communicate, work within a team, take initiative and bear responsibility. He added that the university is working to encourage colleges, unions and student families to provide quality activities related to students' needs and future requirements.


    Prof. Issawi Qassem, Dean of the College of Agriculture, explained that the college organized the training camp and fully supervised its activities, as part of its plan to provide a supportive educational and training environment for students, noting that the camp aimed to enhance students' skills and develop their practical and personal abilities through a diverse training program based on participation, interaction and teamwork.


    The Dean of the College added that the students of Family for Egypt participated effectively in implementing and organizing the camp activities in cooperation with the College Administration and work teams, expressing his pride in the commitment, positive spirit, and ability to organize and work together demonstrated by the students, stressing the College's continued expansion in programs and camps that contribute to preparing graduates who possess, in addition to specialized knowledge, the skills required by the labor market.
