The President of Tanta University witnesses the 11th International Conference on Qualitative Studies and Entrepreneurship


Prof. Muhammad Hussein: Linking qualitative studies to entrepreneurship opens new horizons for transforming knowledge and skills into innovative projects


    Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, witnessed the activities of the eleventh international conference entitled «Qualitative Studies and Entrepreneurship.... From practice to innovation and empowerment», in the presence of Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs; Prof. Rania Abdo Al-Imam, Dean of the College of Specific Education; and Prof. Al-Sayed Mazroua, Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs and former Dean of the College, along with a number of faculty members, researchers and conference participants.


    Prof. Mohamed Hussein stressed that Tanta University's hosting of the 11th International Conference on Qualitative Studies and Entrepreneurship comes as a result of the university's keenness to keep pace with the rapid transformations in the fields of education, the labor market and entrepreneurship, to enhance the culture of innovation, and to support the transformation of scientific and creative ideas and practices into real, applicable projects and opportunities, which contributes to achieving sustainable development and serving society.


    The university president explained that qualitative studies represent one of the important fields in building the student's personality and developing his creative and innovative abilities, pointing out that the integration between the specializations of arts, music education, home economics, educational media, educational technology, educational and psychological sciences, and the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship, opens broad horizons for students and graduates to invest their knowledge, skills and talents, and transform them into ideas, projects, products and services of economic and societal value.


    Prof. Mohammed Hussein added that the university is paying increasing attention to building the capabilities of its students in the fields of innovation, self-employment and entrepreneurship, and providing them with the skills that enable them to keep pace with the requirements of the changing labor market, stressing the importance of universities moving from the stage of knowledge production to maximizing their development impact, by linking scientific research and creativity to the actual needs of society and the productive and service sectors.


    For his part, Prof. Hatem Amin explained that the conference represents an important scientific platform for exchanging expertise and research experiences, and enhancing integration between the fields of qualitative studies and entrepreneurship, stressing the importance of employing scientific research outputs and transforming them into innovative ideas and applications that contribute to serving society and responding to the needs of the labor market.

 

    The Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs pointed out Tanta University's commitment to supporting researchers, encouraging applied research and innovation, and providing a scientific environment that stimulates creativity and cooperation between different specializations, which contributes to raising the quality of research outputs and maximizing their societal and developmental impact.


    Prof. Rania Abdo Al-Imam stressed that organizing the 11th International Conference on Qualitative Studies and Entrepreneurship reflects the growing interest in the vital role of qualitative studies in building the human being and developing his creative and practical skills, noting that specific education specializations represent an important tributary for preparing qualified cadres who possess the knowledge, skills and capabilities that keep pace with successive changes and the needs of society and the labor market.


    The Dean of the College of Specific Education added that qualitative studies are no longer limited to traditional academic and specialized dimensions, but have become a broad field for creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship, as they provide opportunities to invest individual talents and capabilities and transform innovative ideas into applicable projects, products and services. She stressed that the conference aims to support scientific dialogue, exchange expertise and present modern visions and experiences that contribute to developing the fields of qualitative studies and enhancing their connection to development and entrepreneurship.
