Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the twelfth batch of the Clinical Pharmacy Program at the Faculty of Pharmacy, in the presence of Prof. Al-Sayed Al-Ajouz, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mona Al-Aasar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the faculty's deputies, a number of faculty members, graduates and their parents.
During his speech, Prof. Muhammad Hussein congratulated the graduates of the twelfth batch and their families, expressing his happiness at their participation in this important moment that culminates years of hard work and diligence, stressing that graduation does not represent the end of an educational stage as much as it constitutes the beginning of a new path of work, giving, and bearing responsibility towards society.
The University President stressed that the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tanta University continues to fulfill its mission of preparing scientifically and professionally qualified pharmaceutical cadres, capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in the health care system, pointing out the increasing importance of clinical pharmacy in enhancing the quality of health services, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicine, and supporting patient safety.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein congratulated and appreciated the parents and faculty members for the support and efforts they provided that contributed to the graduates reaching this moment, calling on his graduating students to continue learning and developing their skills, and to adhere to the values of science, ethics and professional responsibility, and to be honorable ambassadors for Tanta University, and to employ the knowledge and experience they have acquired in serving patients and society.
For his part, Prof. Al-Sayed Al-Ajouz stressed that the graduation of the twelfth batch of the Clinical Pharmacy Program embodies the fruit of years of work and diligence, and at the same time represents the beginning of a new phase that requires more continuous learning and the development of professional capabilities.
The Vice President of the University pointed to the growing role of the clinical pharmacist in supporting the health system and improving the quality of care and patient safety, stressing the importance of graduates keeping pace with rapid developments in medical and pharmaceutical sciences, and benefiting from modern technologies and applications of artificial intelligence in developing their professional practices, wishing them a future full of success and excellence.
In turn, Prof. Mona Al-Aasar explained that the graduation of the twelfth batch of the program reflects the success of the College of Pharmacy's vision in providing an educational model that keeps pace with the rapid transformations in the health sector, and consolidates the integration between academic study and practical application within health care environments.
She added that the college is constantly working to develop its programs and curricula in accordance with modern academic and professional standards, and in line with the needs of the labor market, stressing that the graduates of the program represent an extension of the college's journey and its scientific and societal mission, and expressing her confidence in their ability to transform the knowledge and skills they have acquired into real value added to the health care system, and to be an honorable model for Tanta University graduates.
