Prof. Mohamed Hussein congratulated the university's scientists on the list, stressing that this achievement represents a source of pride for Tanta University, and reflects the scientific and research capabilities of its scientists and researchers that are capable of competing and influencing internationally. He pointed out that the increase from 47 to 64 scientists in one publication represents an important indicator of the growing quality and impact of the university's scientific production and the sustainability of its presence in global research databases and indicators.

The university president added that Tanta University places scientific research and innovation at the top of its strategic priorities, and works to create an academic and research environment that stimulates excellence, supports researchers, international scientific publishing and research cooperation, stressing that the university aims during the next stage to maximize the scientific and developmental impact of research, and direct its research capabilities towards national priority issues and development challenges, in a way that enhances its competitiveness and position among universities regionally and internationally.

For his part, Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President of Tanta University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, confirmed that the number of university scientists listed reaching 64 reflects a qualitative development in the research impact of university scientists, explaining that the Stanford/Elsevier rule does not depend on the volume of scientific publication only, but is based on a set of impact indicators and scientific citations, including h-index, hm-index, and the composite index c-score In addition to taking into account participation in authorship and the researcher's position on the list of authors.

The Vice President of the University added that the next stage will witness continued work to raise the quality of research outputs and increase their impact and international citations, support inter-research and international scientific cooperation, and enhance the visibility of researchers and their institutional affiliation with the University in global databases, ensuring that the individual excellence of the University's scientists is translated into sustainable institutional progress in scientific research indicators and international classifications.

According to the data contained in the current edition, Tanta University's listed scientists were distributed among five colleges, with 28 scientists from the College of Science, 16 from the College of Engineering, 11 from the College of Pharmacy, 5 from the College of Agriculture, and 4 from the College of Medicine.
