Launching Technology Ambassadors Initiative at Tanta University Prof. Mohamed Hussein, “We Are Keen on the Strategic Partnership with Decent Life Foundation and Ministry of Communications to Change into a Fourth-Generation University”

     Tanta University hosted today the launch of “Technology Ambassadors” initiative, organized by Ministry of Communications in cooperation with Decent Life Foundation. The event was attended by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Colonel Mahmoud Arbein, Manager of Decent Life Foundation's office in Gharbia; Engr. Mustafa El-Sawaf, Executive Officer of Digital Decent Life Initiative at Ministry of Communications; and several volunteers from Decent Life Initiative and students.

   At the beginning of his speech, Prof. Mohamed Hussein indicated that the launch of "Technology Ambassadors" initiative is part of the significant achievements made since its inception under patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He highlighted the university's role in supporting the initiative through participation in various activities and events, as well as organizing medical convoys, which have exceeded 1,200 convoys over the past four years, serving nearly one million beneficiaries. In addition, he thanked Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

     Furthermore, Acting President of the university also asserted the importance of the "Technology Ambassadors" initiative for its role in helping university students acquire the skills of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, particularly in data handling and knowledge, and in preparing a generation of youth capable of meeting future demands and ready for the digital Egypt community. He thanked Prof. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Decent Life Foundation for their sponsorship and support of this initiative. During his speech, Prof. Mohamed Hussein also extended heartfelt congratulations to Egypt’s young Olympic medalists in Paris 2024, who proudly raised the Egyptian flag high. He affirmed that this proves that the nation’s youth are the cornerstone of the future and the hope for building our new republic.
