As Part of the Presidential Initiative “A New Beginning for Human Development”, Prof. Mohamed Hussein Inspects the Exhibition of Trainees at the Workshops of Faculty of Specific Education

     Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, conducted a field visit today to Faculty of Specific Education. He was accompanied by Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. They were received by Prof. Rania Al-Imam, Faculty Dean. They inspected the trainees' product exhibition and followed up on the workshops that aimed to prepare youth for the labor market. These workshops are part “Sanaiyat Misr” (Egypt’s Artisans) initiative for economic empowerment, promoting micro enterprises organized by the faculty in several fields, including the production of scented candles, decorative concrete, and decorative resin. This effort supports the initiative of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's "A New Beginning for Human Development".

   Prof. Mohamed Hussein commended the outcomes of the workshops and the economic empowerment projects organized by the faculty that provide participants with new skills, enabling them to meet labor market requirements. In addition, he affirmed that the university is keen on human development to create generations with awareness and ability to shape a better future for homeland.

    Furthermore, Prof. Mahmoud Selim added that the workshops strengthen the ties between the university and the community; they empower individuals with new skills that enhance their quality of life and contribute to societal development. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Faculty's administration, academic staff members, and administrators of the faculty for their hard work in organizing specialized workshops that foster skill development and creativity.
