Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, accompanied by Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, visited the University Emergency Hospital to check on the condition of those injured in the tragic accident that occurred today on the Tanta-Qutour road. The hospital received several injured individuals, including six university students. They were received by Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board, Prof. Hassan El-Tatawy, Executive Director of University Hospitals, Prof. Mohamed El-Shabini, Supervisor of the University Emergency Hospital, and several directors of university hospitals.

During the visit, Prof. Mohamed Hussein ensured the provision of all necessary first aid and medical services to the injured and the preparedness of the University Emergency Hospital to deliver care through its doctors and nursing teams, as well as the availability of medical equipment in accordance with the condition of the injured. He emphasized the readiness of all university hospitals to receive cases requiring specialized medical services at the highest levels of efficiency and precision. While visiting the injured, he affirmed the importance of continuous monitoring of their conditions to ensure their safety.

He also instructed the deans of the faculties to provide all necessary accommodations and take measures to ensure that the injured students are not adversely affected during the ongoing examination period.

It is worth noting that the list of injured students includes Abdullah Gouda Abdullah from the Faculty of Specific Education, Lamia Amin Fawzy from the Faculty of Commerce, Amira Mohamed Hesham from the Faculty of Commerce, Yara Gamal Abdel-Moneim from the Faculty of Commerce, Nariman Ayman Mohamed from the Faculty of Commerce, and Hadir Hamza Mohamed from the Faculty of Business.
