The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced that the Supreme Council of Private Universities has approved the establishment of Tanta National University, which will include 10 faculties: Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Financial and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, and Faculty of Al-Alsun (Languages). The remaining procedures will be completed, and a presidential decree will be issued to officially establish the university.

This decision was made today during the regular meeting of the Supreme Council of Private Universities, chaired by Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of Prof. Maher Mesbah, Secretary of the Council, and with the participation of Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, along with council members and a number of ministry officials. The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Private Education Building in New Cairo.
