Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Acting President of Tanta University, welcomed today Prof. Ismail Al-Hadi Obeid, the Libyan Cultural Attaché, along with Mahmoud Shehata, Head of the Supervision Department, and Maryam Saeed Saleh, the supervisor for Libyan students at Tanta University. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, to discuss the status of Libyan postgraduate students studying at the university.
During the meeting, Prof. Mohamed Hussein emphasized that Tanta University provides a range of services and facilities to support international postgraduate students, ensuring a distinguished educational and research environment. These services include administrative procedures and registration through the International Students Services Office, facilitating enrollment in various postgraduate programs while considering each student's unique circumstances. The university is also committed to offering academic, social, and cultural support to international students, reinforcing the strong ties between the Egyptian and Libyan peoples.
Prof. Ismail Al-Hadi praised the university's significant efforts in providing an outstanding academic environment for international students. He also stressed the importance of continuing support for Libyan students to help them successfully complete their studies and achieve academic excellence.
