Tanta University President Inspects University Hospitals to Ensure Readiness Before Eid Al-Fitr Holiday

Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, conducted an inspection tour of the university hospitals today to assess their readiness and ensure the availability of all necessary medical and nursing services for citizens throughout the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. He was accompanied by Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the University Hospitals Board; Prof. Hassan Al-Tatawy, Executive Director of University Hospitals; Prof. Ahmed Sweilem, Director of the Main Hospital and the New Surgery Hospital; and Prof. Mohamed Sarhan, Deputy Director of the Main Hospital and the New Surgery Hospital.


Prof. Mohamed Hussein emphasized that this inspection tour was carried out in accordance with the directives of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to ensure that university hospitals are fully prepared to provide comprehensive medical services to citizens during the Eid holiday. He also highlighted the importance of maintaining a high state of preparedness throughout the break.


During the tour, the University President reviewed all preparations and arrangements to guarantee optimal medical care for all citizens. He ensured the presence of a sufficient number of doctors and nurses, appropriately distributed across shifts, to sustain the continuous delivery of medical services throughout the holiday. He also confirmed coordination with the Gharbia Governorate and Ministry of Health hospitals to provide the highest quality medical services to all citizens.


Prof. Mohamed Hussein stressed the importance of providing all necessary facilities and services to ensure patient comfort and ensuring that all hospital departments remain fully operational, delivering healthcare services with maximum speed and efficiency. He extended his sincere gratitude to Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Prof. Hassan Al-Tatawy, the hospital directors, and all medical, nursing, and administrative staff for their tremendous efforts in ensuring the readiness of university hospitals during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.


For his part, Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim affirmed that the university hospitals have fully prepared all departments, including emergency, intensive care, blood banks, diagnostic radiology, MRI, CT scans, central laboratories, and blood banks, to handle the Eid period. He noted that backup teams have been deployed alongside primary teams, including doctors, nurses, radiology and laboratory technicians, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and dentists, to ensure the uninterrupted provision of medical services.
