In Recognition of Tanta University's Achievement in Student Training Exchange Among Arab Universities: Tanta University President Receives Shield from The Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity


Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, received The honorary shield of The Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity, presented by Prof. Mona Al-Yafie, Honorary Member of The Council. The award comes in recognition of The university’s outstanding achievement in student training exchange, securing third place nationally and fifth among Arab universities.
Prof. Hussein also received The Shield of The University of Sharqiyah in The Sultanate of Oman, as a gesture of appreciation for The university’s exceptional hospitality and dedication during The training of Sharqiyah students at Tanta University.
Prof. Hussein emphasized that this achievement reflects The joint efforts and effective collaboration across The university’s faculties, departments, academic staff, administrative teams, and students, who represented The university with excellence across Arab institutions. He stressed The importance of student exchange programs in building bridges between nations and preparing graduates capable of global competitiveness and cultural engagement.
In her remarks, Prof. Al-Yafie congratulated Prof. Hussein and The entire Tanta University community, affirming that this accomplishment highlights The university’s regional and international academic excellence.
It is worth noting that The Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity was established in 1992 by a resolution of The Arab Universities Union during its 25th session held at Alexandria University. The council, affiliated with The Union of Arab Universities, is headquartered at The University of Jordan.
