Today, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, conducted an extensive inspection tour of the clinics at the University Dental Hospital. The purpose of the visit was to follow up on the final preparations and ongoing readiness efforts in anticipation of the hospital’s trial operation, scheduled to commence in the near future. The tour was attended by Prof. Faten Abu Taleb, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry; Prof. Ali El-Sheikh, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Sherine Abdel-Mawla, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein emphasized that the visit reflects the university administration’s commitment to ensuring the highest levels of quality and efficiency in the medical services that will be offered by the hospital. He noted that the facility will represent a significant addition to the healthcare sector in Gharbia Governorate and neighboring regions. The tour covered all clinical departments, where the University President reviewed the latest state-of-the-art medical equipment and met with the engineering and technical teams overseeing the setup to ensure full compliance with international standards and specifications.
During the tour, Prof. Mohamed Hussein highlighted the strategic importance of this vital project, which will contribute to delivering advanced, comprehensive dental care to citizens. It will also provide a high-quality educational and training environment for students of the Faculty of Dentistry, helping to strengthen their practical competencies and clinical skills.
It is worth noting that the Supreme Council of University Hospitals has approved the trial operation of Tanta University’s Dental Hospital through the end of 2025.
