Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of the University, explained that the visit is part of a series of activities aimed at promoting national awareness and pride in the history of the Egyptian Armed Forces, as well as educating younger generations about the sacrifices made by heroes for the sake of the nation’s dignity and the protection of its land. He stressed the importance of such visits in building a generation that is aware of its country's history, responsible, and capable of actively contributing to its future.

During the visit, students had a unique opportunity to closely explore the heroic battles that took place at this strategic site, and the significant role it played during the glorious October War of 1973.
