Prof. Mohamed Hussein:
We value the political leadership’s commitment to launching and supporting initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education and its outcomes.
The “Be Prepared” initiative, launched by the Ministry of Higher Education, aims to build human capacities qualified for the labor market.
Building an aware, cultured, and well-qualified person is the true investment that guarantees Egypt a bright and sustainable future.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, paid an inspection visit to the student summer camp in Baltim, as part of his keenness to follow up on the activities and events held outside the university campus.
During the visit, Prof. Hussein met with a group of female students participating in the camp and reviewed the ongoing activities, which included cultural, artistic, sports, and social programs. He praised the efforts made to provide a comprehensive environment that contributes to developing the students’ skills and shaping their personalities, appreciating the political leadership’s efforts in launching and sponsoring initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education and its outcomes.
He also held an awareness seminar with the students, focusing on the importance of active participation in student activities. He emphasized that such participation is not merely recreational, but an essential part of the educational process, helping to build the student’s character, enhance their national awareness, and prepare them to actively contribute to Egypt’s ongoing development plans.
Prof. Hussein discussed in detail the significance of student involvement in the “Be Prepared” initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He explained that the initiative aims to prepare students for the labor market by equipping them with essential skills and experiences. He further stressed that the initiative also encompasses other crucial skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. He urged all students to take advantage of this valuable opportunity, affirming that it will add great value to their future professional careers.
He further underlined that student activities are a cornerstone in shaping a well-rounded character for university students. He extended his thanks to Mr. Mohamed El-Qaseer, General Director of Student Welfare at the University, and the officials responsible for the Baltim camp, for their dedicated efforts. Prof. Hussein pointed out that the university’s goal is not only to graduate academically knowledgeable students but also to nurture a generation of leaders capable of critical thinking, teamwork, and responsibility. He confirmed that student activities are the ideal environment to develop these skills and acquire the necessary life experiences.
Finally, Prof. Hussein stressed that the university believes its students are the strong arm of Egypt’s development, and Tanta University is committed to providing every opportunity that supports such activities, in line with the principles of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
