On the First Day of Medical Examinations for New Students at Tanta University: Prof. Mohamed Hussein Inspects the Medical Administration Headquarters at the University Campus in Sibrbay

Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, conducted an inspection tour today of the Medical Administration Headquarters at the University Campus in Sibrbay, to follow up on the medical examination procedures for new students on their first day.

The visit was attended by Prof. Amr Abdel Moneim, General Supervisor of the Medical Administration; Prof. Haitham El-Koumi, General Director of Education at the University; and Mr. Mohamed El-Qaseer, General Director of the University’s Student Welfare Administration.

During his tour, the University President monitored the medical examination procedures, which on their first day—according to the previously announced schedule—were allocated for female students from the Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Engineering. He ensured that the work was proceeding smoothly and reviewed the different examination stages, from measuring height and weight to eye tests, and finally visits to specialized clinics.

Prof. Hussein stressed the importance of providing a safe and healthy environment for students, noting that the medical examination is a fundamental step to ensure everyone’s well-being and to identify any health conditions that may require special follow-up.

He further added that the University administration seeks, through this medical examination, to create a comprehensive medical file for each student, making it easier to monitor their health and provide the necessary care throughout their academic years. He confirmed that all required facilities and arrangements have been provided to ensure smooth procedures and to avoid overcrowding, in order to guarantee the comfort of students and their families.
