Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President , welcomed Prof. Hamdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of Damietta University, to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation between the two universities in student, research, and community activities. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Mamdouh El-Masry, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts. Discussions focused on developing effective mechanisms for exchanging expertise, advancing curricula and research programs, and working together to serve the community and address its issues.

During the meeting, Prof. Mohamed Hussein stressed the importance of collective efforts among Egyptian universities as part of an integrated system. He noted that this meeting represents a practical step toward activating the executive frameworks of the Delta Universities Alliance, which aims to channel efforts and resources toward serving the community effectively.

For his part, Prof. Hamdan Rabie El-Metwally praised the pioneering role of Tanta University, affirming Damietta University’s commitment to strengthening fruitful cooperation and opening new horizons for partnership.
