Prof. Mohamed Hussein Attends the Graduation Ceremony of the 47th Class and the International Program at the Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University

The Faculty of Dentistry at Tanta University organized today the graduation ceremony of the 47th class and the International Program, held at the University’s Grand Conference Hall.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Abdel Fattah Sadaka, former President of Tanta University and President of Al-Salam University; Prof. Faten Abou Taleb, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry; Prof. Sherine Abdel-Mawla, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Aly El-Sheikh, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Yasser Makaki, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Ahmed El-Dessouky, event coordinator; and Prof. Fathy Fayad, Head of the Dentists’ Syndicate in Gharbia. The ceremony also witnessed the presence of several deans, faculty members, and graduates.


In his speech, Prof. Mohamed Hussein congratulated the graduates, praising their efforts and dedication that led to this academic milestone after years of perseverance and hard work. He emphasized that this achievement marks not the end, but the beginning of a new professional and humanitarian journey, highlighting the profound responsibility carried by the title of “Doctor,” which embodies compassion, knowledge, skill, responsibility, and humanity.

He affirmed that the dentist plays a vital role as a cornerstone of public health, far beyond oral health alone, and urged the new graduates to be exemplary ambassadors for their university and their country.


The President also extended heartfelt thanks to the faculty members, teaching assistants, and administrative staff of the Faculty of Dentistry for their role in preparing this distinguished group of graduates. He expressed deep appreciation to the parents, recognizing them as the true partners in the graduates’ success, and commended the outstanding organization of the ceremony, which reflects the college’s excellence and prestige. He also praised the faculty’s record of excellence and internal awards.


For his part, Prof. Hatem Amin expressed his joy in attending the ceremony and congratulated the graduates. He commended the college for its remarkable organization and dedication, while highlighting the challenges posed by the rapid global developments in the field of dentistry. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to producing highly qualified graduates through academic and practical excellence.

Prof. Amin encouraged the new doctors to continue their academic journey and expressed his hope to see them soon enrolled in postgraduate programs at Tanta University. He also thanked the college administration for its continuous efforts in developing facilities and enhancing human resources.


In her speech, Prof. Faten Abou Taleb, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, warmly welcomed the attendees and expressed her pride in the graduates who now stand on the threshold of their dreams after years she described as “filled with effort and challenges.” She emphasized that this day represents the fruitful harvest of their perseverance and hard work.

Prof. Abou Taleb reminded the graduates that the medical profession demands the highest levels of humanity and compassion alongside professional competence, urging them to live up to the trust placed in them and to employ their skills in serving society. She concluded her speech by extending heartfelt congratulations to the graduates and their families on this remarkable achievement.


The ceremony concluded with the presentation of shields of appreciation from the graduates to Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Prof. Hatem Amin, Prof. Faten Abou Taleb, Prof. Sherine Abdel-Mawla, Prof. Ahmed El-Dessouky, and Prof. Fathy Fayad.

Honors were also extended to international students from Syria and Palestine, outstanding students in extracurricular activities, graduates of the International Program, and all graduating students, who received their graduation certificates and commemorative shields.
