Egyptian Dar Al-Ifta and Tanta University Organize an Event to Promote Religious and National Awareness

Within the framework of the ongoing and constructive cooperation between Egyptian Dar Al-Ifta and Tanta University, aimed at supporting the state’s efforts to enhance religious and national awareness among university youth, Tanta University is hosting a significant educational and awareness-raising event entitled “Religious Identity and Youth Issues Course.”

The course is held under the patronage of His Eminence Prof. Dr. Nazir Mohamed Ayyad, Grand Mufti of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, reflecting the shared conviction of both institutions regarding the importance of equipping students with sound intellectual and cognitive tools to address contemporary ideological challenges and to reinforce authentic religious and national identity.

The program includes a keynote lecture entitled “The Major Existential Questions,” delivered by Sheikh Taher Zaid, Secretary of Fatwa and Director of the Dialogue Unit at Egyptian Dar Al-Ifta. The lecture aims to initiate a constructive and methodical dialogue on intellectual and existential issues that occupy the minds of young people, while providing credible answers grounded in the moderate and balanced Azharite approach.
