In the Presence of Major General Ashraf El-Gendy, Governor of Gharbia, and Senior Officials of Gharbia Governorate: Prof. Mohamed Hussein Attends Christmas Mass at St. George Church in Tanta

Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, attended this evening the Christmas Mass held at St. George Church in Tanta, hosted by His Grace Anba Bola, Metropolitan of Tanta and its Dependencies. The event was attended by Major General Ashraf El-Gendy, Governor of Gharbia; Major General Tamer El-Samary, First Assistant to the Minister of Interior for Central Delta; Major General Osama Nasr, Director of Gharbia Security; Major General Mohamed El-Gendy, Director of the National Security Department; Prof. Mahmoud Issa, Deputy Governor of Gharbia; Prof. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President of Tanta University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Colonel Mohamed Yehia, representative of National Security; Major General Diaa El-Din Abdel-Hamid, Secretary-General of the Governorate; Brigadier General (Staff) Wael Fathy, Military Advisor to the Governorate; in addition to a distinguished gathering of executive, security, religious, and public figures, members of parliament, journalists, and media professionals.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein extended his sincerest congratulations and appreciation to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, affirming that Egypt is witnessing comprehensive development under his wise leadership. He renewed Tanta University’s commitment to continuing its enlightening mission in support of the nation’s development and construction efforts befitting the New Republic. He emphasized that Egyptians’ holidays are national occasions that embody the highest meanings of unity and solidarity, expressing his happiness to share these warm and affectionate celebrations with His Grace Anba Bola, Metropolitan of Tanta and its Dependencies, and all Coptic brothers and sisters.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein further stated that Tanta University takes pride in its strong and historic relationship with the Egyptian Church and the Tanta Metropolitanate, stressing that this relationship goes beyond formal protocols to reflect a true partnership in raising awareness and serving the people of Gharbia Governorate. He noted that the University and the Metropolitanate are united by a common goal of promoting the values of citizenship and national belonging among youth
