Tanta University President Receives Sadat University President to Discuss Joint Cooperation within the Delta Region Alliance

   Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, received Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bary, President of Sadat City University, at his office today. Also present were Prof. Mona El-Aasar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; and Prof. Hesham Tawfik, Professor of Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine. This visit reflects the commitment to strengthening academic and professional integration within the framework of the Delta Region Universities Alliance, serving the development goals of the Egyptian state.

   The meeting included extensive discussions on mechanisms for activating sustainable cooperation frameworks that ensure the optimal utilization of all available material and human resources at both universities. The focus was primarily on the healthcare sector and developing medical services provided to citizens. Attendees explored opportunities for exchanging expertise between the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy and coordinating research and treatment efforts to maximize the benefit from the scientific personnel and advanced medical equipment available at both universities.

   During the meeting, Prof. Mohamed Hussein emphasized that the university is dedicating all its resources and extensive experience to this collaborative effort, aiming to achieve genuine integration that benefits all citizens. He noted that current challenges necessitate universities working as a unified team to create a distinguished educational and medical environment that relies on the intelligent utilization of available resources and ensures their sustainability for future generations.

   For his part, Prof. Nasser Abdel-Bari expressed his appreciation for the pioneering role played by Tanta University in the Delta region. He affirmed that these partnerships represent a practical model for implementing the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's vision of building strong regional alliances. These alliances aim to bridge gaps and unify efforts in vital fields, particularly in medicine and pharmacy, thereby guaranteeing the provision of educational and treatment services that meet international quality standards.
