President of Tanta University Attends Easter Mass at St. George Church in Tanta

  In the presence of Major General Dr. Alaa Abdel Moaty, Governor of Gharbia, acting on behalf of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, attended today the Easter Mass at St. George Church in Tanta. The ceremony was also attended by Major General Tamer El-Semary, First Assistant to the Minister of Interior for the Central Delta Region; Major General Osama Nasr, Director of Gharbia Security; Major General Mohamed El-Gendy, Director of the National Security Department; Major General Hazem Mehran of Military Intelligence; Colonel Mohamed Yehia, Head of the National Security Authority in Gharbia; Brigadier General Staff Wael Fathy, Military Advisor to the Governorate; Dr. Mahmoud Selim, Vice President of Tanta University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; Major General Diaa El-Din Abdel Hamid, Secretary-General of the Governorate; members of the House of Representatives and the Senate; executive leaders; as well as representatives of Al-Azhar and the Ministry of Endowments, and Christian religious leaders, in a scene reflecting the deep bonds uniting the sons of the nation.

   The delegation was received by His Grace Bishop Paula, Metropolitan of Tanta and its dependencies, who welcomed the attendees and expressed his appreciation for this gesture, which reflects the spirit of participation and solidarity among Egyptians.
