The Selection Committee for the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, chaired by Professor Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, has completed the personal interviews for applicants nominated for the position of Dean of the Faculty.

    The interviews for candidates applying for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry 2026 were conducted in alphabetical order. The candidates are:

• Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Mohy El-Din Atiya El-Din, Professor and Acting Head of the Department of Dental Prosthetics, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University.

• Professor Dr. Sherine Abdel-Mawla Ali Moawad, Professor in the Department of Oral Medicine, Periodontology, Diagnosis Methods and Radiology, and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University.

• Professor Dr. Abeer Mostafa Abdel Ghani Darraj, Professor and Acting Head of the Department of Endodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University.

• Professor Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Mohamed El-Shennawy, Professor in the Department of Endodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University.

• Professor Dr. Walid Mohamed Abdel Majeed El-Shahawy, Professor and Acting Head of the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University.

• Professor Dr. Yasser Mohamed El-Metwally El-Makkaky, Professor in the Department of Oral Medicine, Periodontology, Diagnosis Methods and Radiology, and Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University.
