A specialized surgical team at the University Children’s Cancer Hospital successfully removed a large malignant tumor weighing 2 kilograms from the abdomen and pelvis of a 10-year-old girl. The delicate operation was completed in just two hours. He confirmed that the child’s condition is now completely stable and that she has been safely discharged from the hospital.
