During the activities of the 12th National Forum of Egyptian Universities: Tanta University Students Secure Top Positions

    The delegation of students from Tanta University won first place in the “Ideal Male and Female Student” competition among Egyptian public, private, and national universities during the activities of the 12th National Forum hosted by Fayoum University. The university’s students also succeeded in claiming first place in the “Goodwill Ambassadors” competition within the framework of the “Makken” initiative at the level of the Central and South Delta sector. This achievement reflects the balance maintained by Tanta University students between academic excellence, skill development, and active community engagement.

    Professor Mohamed Hussein, President of the University, expressed his pride in this accomplishment, affirming that the university’s students have once again demonstrated their ability to elevate the university’s name at national forums. He emphasized that Tanta University’s repeated success in attaining top positions as the best university in the Ideal Student competition is the result of a clear institutional strategy aimed at building well-rounded student personalities. He further stressed that the university seeks to prepare future leaders equipped with awareness, competence, and a spirit of initiative.

    For his part, Professor El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, praised the outstanding level demonstrated by the participating students, explaining that this distinction was achieved through continuous support and intensive training. He noted that this victory reflects the significant efforts exerted by the Education and Student Affairs Sector to develop student activities and direct them toward innovation and community service.

    This achievement crowned the cultural and academic excellence of the participating students: Ahmed Abdelrahman Mohamed, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Dentistry; Mohamed Nasser Abdel Fattah, a third-year student at the Faculty of Medicine; Malak Alaa Sarhan, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Computers and Information; and Dina Khaled Karim El-Din, a fifth-year student at the Faculty of Medicine, all of whom secured first place in the Goodwill Ambassadors competition within the “Makken” initiative at the level of the Central and South Delta sector. In addition, Nourseen Mohamed Abouzeid, a student at the Faculty of Education, was crowned with the title of “Goodwill Ambassador,” while Rabie Mohamed Rabie, a student at the Faculty of Arts, received the title of “Deputy Goodwill Ambassador.”

    This distinguished participation took place under the general supervision of Prof. Magdy Wakouk, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the university, with field follow-up by Prof. Mohamed El-Qoseir, Director General of the General Administration for Student Welfare, along with the administration’s work team, who exerted great efforts in preparing and equipping the students to compete at the highest levels.
