During his meeting today with the committee of following up the issue of literacy, Prof. 'Emad 'Etman declared that the University had a great role in literacy through activities and events organized by Community Service and Environmental Development Sector all year round. He highlighted the continuous cooperation and coordination with the General Authority of Literacy and Adult Education in Gharbia and different faculties of the University that take part in the national project of literacy in Gharbia Governorate.

   Prof. 'Etman added that the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) decided to activate the role played by the university according to the presidential directions given in 2015-2016. He indicated that Tanta University students feel responsible and respond to the project to serve their homeland.
