Prof. Mohamed Hussein reviews a report on Tanta University's plan to expand the reuse of treated water
Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, participated in the regular meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities, headed by Prof. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture, in the presence of Prof. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Council, and the Council members, at the headquarters of Suez University.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, reviewed a report on the university's plan to expand the reuse of treated water. The report included the technical report on the gray water treatment plant project at the Faculty of Engineering, after the completion of its implementation and successful operation. The report also included a review of the project's objectives, the drainage network, the pumping system, the treatment and filtration unit, the tank, the control panel, the irrigation network, and the future vision..
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research directed to enhance the role of universities in studying the issues, problems and challenges facing the country, enhance the efficiency of services provided by university hospitals, expand the application of mechanization and digital transformation systems in various university sectors, prepare early for the new academic year 2026/2027, and adhere to occupational health and safety procedures and secure university facilities.
