Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, honored Prof. Mohamed Yehia Nasef, Head of the Executive Body of the General Authority for Adult Education, in the celebration organized by the university today in Conference Center at the headquarters of University Administration on the occasion of being the top university in adult education among governmental universities based on the results of July 2022 as the university managed to educate 24367 illiterate persons. The honoring included deans of the top three faculties in literacy namely Prof. Mamdouh Al-Masry, Dean of Faculty of Arts; Prof. Hany Al-Shamy, Dean of Faculty of Commerce; Prof. Ahmed Helal, Dean of Education; Mr. Mohammad Abo Al-Nabail, General Manager of Adult Education Authority in Gharbia; Prof. Walid Samir, General Coordinator of the Literacy Project at the University; and Prof. Eman Raafat Fathy, Manager of Department of Protocols at the General Authority for Adult Education.

    In addition, University President honored vice deans of these faculties namely Prof. Ibrahim Tolba Sallekha, Vice Dean of Faculty of Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Ramadan Al-Sayed Maan, Vice Dean of Faculty of Commerce for Community Service and Environmental Development and Coordinator of the Faculty; Prof. Yasser Abdel Rahim Bayoumi, Vice Dean of Faculty of Education for Community Service and Environmental Development; and coordinators of the Literacy Projects at the faculties: Prof. Raafat Abo Al-Enein, Coordinator of Faculty of Arts; and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saad Abdel Rahman, Coordinator of Faculty of Education. Moreover, University President honored coordinators of the authority: Mr. Rada Alay-Al Din, Ms. Nafissa Mohamed Fahmy, Ms. Rasha Mahmoud Nafie, Mr. Ehab Abdel Latif Al-Shennawy, Ms. Zeinab Abdel Baset Al-Rish, Ms. Baheya Basyouni Al-Deltony, Ms. Mona Hassan Hassan and Ms. Lamia Fouad Al-Sammany, as well as students who made a great achievement in literacy: Mohamed Abdullah Abdel Azim, Ahmed Mohamed Samih Youssef and Khaled Mansour Ibrahim Al-Qut.

    Furthermore, University President honored Mr. Yasser Sharshar, Manager of Public Relations at the Authority; Mr. Hussein Hamed Al-Fart, Manager of Citizen Service at the General Authority for Adult Education; Mr. Ibrahim Al-Ashry, Director of Security Department; Mr. Ahmed Abdel Ghany from the Public Relations Department at the General Authority for Adult Education, Mr. Mustafa Abdel Wareth Al-Dow, Member of Performance Assessment at the General Authority for Adult Education; Ms. Nahed Mohamed Al-Meleigy, Administrative Coordinator at the General Authority for Adult Education; and Mr. Salama Mustafa Salama from General Manager’s Office.
