The university gained the second rank locally in Chemical Engineering and came fifth in Pharmaceutical Sciences

    Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, announced that the university made unprecedented progress in the Chinese Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects this year as it gained the first rank locally in Biochemistry and was ranked (201-300) internationally. Moreover, it gained the second rank locally in Chemical Engineering and rank (301-400) internationally. In Pharmaceutical Sciences, it was ranked (301-400). It got the sixth rank in Agricultural Sciences locally and was ranked (151-200) internationally. In Dentistry and Oral Sciences, it was ranked (201-300).

   In addition, University President commended the fact that the university was listed in 6 subjects this year in this ranking namely Biotechnology, Dentistry and Oral Sciences, Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, Energy Science & Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, and Chemical Engineering compared to only 3 subjects last year, thus, making a new achievement. He pointed out that it was a result of the strategy adopted by the university for research development. He also lauded the efforts exerted by the academic staff and researchers at the university and the quality of their scientific outputs.
