Celebrating Its Golden Jubilee, Tanta University Organizes a Symposium on Family Awareness in Cooperation with Al-Azhar and Ministry of Youth and Sports

    Tanta University organized a symposium today on family and social awareness in cooperation with Sheikhdom of Al-Azhar and Ministry of Youth and Sports under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, and Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the title “Close-knit Family Leads to Safe Community”. The symposium was lectured by members of Al-Azhar international electronic center for Fatwa: Prof. Hosny Hashem Al-Hadidy and H.E. Sheikh\ Ahmed Nassr Al-Din.

   In the speech he delivered, Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, welcomed Prof. Hosny Hashem Al-Hadidy and H.E. Sheikh\ Ahmed Nassr Al-Din. He pointed out that the symposium was organized in cooperation with Sheikhdom of Al-Azhar and Minister of Youth and Sports proving the solidarity of all governmental institutions to achieve the good of Egyptian families as they are the foundation of community.

   Furthermore, University President indicated that the symposium coincides with the university’s golden jubilee. On this occasion, the university is increasing its social services to support citizens of Middle Delta. He pointed out that the university enhances all presidential initiatives launched by President\ Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi through its convoys such as Decent Life initiative, the Literacy initiative, establishment of 900 900 Hospital, and Differently Capable initiative launched from Tanta University by Minister\ Nivine El-Kabbag, Minister of Social Solidarity.

   Moreover, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, affirmed in his speech that misconceptions must be corrected via social awareness to deal with community problems. He pointed out that the university is keen on organizing such symposiums with participation of great scientists to educate its students and to create generations able to establish a close-knit family that leads to safe community.

   It is worth noting that the symposium was held in attendance of Prof. Mamdouh Al-Masry, Dean of Faculty of Arts; Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim, Dean of Faculty of Medicine; and Mr. Mohammed Al-Kasir, General Manager of Youth Welfare; and many students from different faculties.
