Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, “Renewing the Accreditation of Faculty of Pharmacy by NAQAAE”

Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, announced that the accreditation gained by Faculty of Pharmacy has been renewed by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) for the second time in a row. This renewal is based on the quality outcomes of the academic programs offered by the Faculty, quality assurance of performance and administrative procedures, excellence in scientific research, and applying standards that cope with developmental needs of the community, and meeting NAQAAE criteria of accreditation.

   Furthermore, University President added that renewing the accreditation of the Faculty is a culmination of education development and the strategic plan of the university that gives a high priority to offering quality academic programs according to local and world standards so that alumni can be qualified to local and international labor market.

   Moreover, Prof. Nahla Al-Ashmawy, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, pointed out that six years after the Faculty had gained institutional accreditation for the first time in May 2016; it applied for renewal of the accreditation by NAQAAE as the Faculty met all the required academic standards.

   In addition, she pointed out that renewal of the accreditation for the second time by NAQAAE is a result of the work accomplished by the institutional team including University Administration, the Faculty, the Accreditation Team, academic staff members, and employees. She asserted that the university always supports the Faculty via the Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation.
