Celebrating its Golden Jubilee, Tanta University Organizes a Medical Convoy in Zefta Examining 1537 Patients and Giving them Medicaments for Free under Patronage of the Prime Minister

   Tanta University organized a medical convoy today in Kafr Sheshta village located in Zefta district in Gharbia governorate to examine patients and to give them medicaments for free, in cooperation with the Supreme Medical Aid Committee of the Cabinet.

   Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, affirmed that a high priority is given to enhancement of the presidential initiative Decent Life in the neediest villages in Gharbia through the medical convoys organized by the university in the context of celebrating its golden jubilee.

  Moreover, Prof. Hamdy Shaaban, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, declared that 1537 patients in the village were examined and were given medicaments for free at the convoy.

   Furthermore, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shebiny, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, indicated that 70 cases were transferred to University Hospitals to complete their treatment in specialties of orthopedic surgery, ENT, general surgery, chest, internal medicine, pediatrics, ophthalmology, urology and neurology.

   It is worth noting that the convoy was held with participation of Prof. Sahar Al-Haggar, Vice Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Zeinab Samy, Coordinator of the Initiative Decent Life in Gharbia; Mr. Mohammed Ghazy, General Manager of Environmental Projects, and Mr. Maher Saad, General Manager of Community Service.
