For the first time, 12 journals issued by Tanta University gain the highest assessment by SCU.

   The Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) in Egypt announced that 12 journals issued by Tanta University gained the highest assessment of Egyptian journals in 2022 according to SCU annual report released in current July.

  Prof. Mahmoud Zaki affirmed that gaining the highest SCU assessment by Tanta University journals is an unprecedented breakthrough. The total points gained this year increased by 300% compared to results of 2020; 90 pointed were gained this year while 30 points were gained in 2020. University President congratulated Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector at the university and at faculties on this great achievement.

   Moreover, Prof. Kamal Okasha, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, added that the 12 journals that gained the highest SCU assessment included Tanta Scientific Nursing Journal issued by Faculty of Nursing, Tanta Dental Journal issued by Faculty of Dentistry, Trade and Finance Journal issued by Faculty of Commerce, the Scientific Journal issued by Faculty of Arts, Essence of Laws issued by Faculty of Law, the Scientific Journal issued by Faculty of Physical Education, the Scientific Journal issued by Faculty of Specific Education, Tanta Medical Journal issued by Faculty of Medicine, the Accounting Journal issued by Faculty of Commerce, Journal of Faculty of Education, and Delta Journal of Science issued by Faculty of Science, as well as the Journal of Advanced medical and pharmaceutical Research issued by Faculty of Pharmacy that gained 6.5 out of 7 points according to the latest assessment.
