A Student Delegation from University of Bradford Visits Faculty of Computer and Information


   Faculty of Computer and Information at Tanta University received today a student delegation from University of Bradford as a part of the training program organized by Tanta University for the visiting delegation to foster the cultural and scientific ties via academic cooperation with foreign universities.
   The first day of training included a lecture entitled, “Metaverse VS Virtual Reality”. It tackled the difference between virtual reality, augmented reality, and metaverse and their impact on real life; in addition to repurposing digital technology in variant fields. It was given by Dr. Al-Shaimaa Hamdy, Lecturer at IT Department. After that, a workshop entitled, “AI & IOT Servers” was lectured by Eng. Basma Mohammed and Eng. Nehal Tariq. The practical part of the workshop was conducted in the IOT lab. They did many experiments using raspberry pi.
   For her part, Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy declared that the faculty provides all means of support and care for the delegation during the period of training which lasts for one week according to the schedule determined by the university.
